Earlier today new AFC Wimbledon Manager held his first press conference… below are some of the highlights!!!
This thoughts on joining AFC Wimbledon: Well i must say it is a massive honour… these are great fans and deserve everything by not wanting to see their club be named something else… all the fans here are loyal supports and i think its only fair they should be rewarded with the sites they saw when the other team was in the Premier League!!!
This thoughts on whether he is too inexperienced for the job: Personally i think that age is just a number… i know these players inside out… i know where they work best… i have studied this team and know where exactly we need to improve!!!
This thoughts on possible transfers: I don't really want to get into that right now… but i know i have several players on my radar… I'm looking to the future so the players i will be bringing in will mostly be under the ages of 25 but who i feel are experienced enough to come straight into the starting eleven!!!
This thoughts on his ambitions for the club: I joined this club for one reason and one reason only… to get them to the Premier League!!! I have a five year plan of getting us to the Premier League and the owners are right behind me with it!!!
Transfer Money Available to Him: Myself and the owners haven't talked too much about this… but I'm sure i will get a small amount but i have been assured that any more i receive from the sales of the current players will straight away go into my transfer kitty!!!
