Minutes ago transfer deadline day closed… Artemis Beartrappe was as busy as any manager in League Two… Bring in one player and shipping on three…

Earlier this morning a bid of 150 thousand pounds was submitted by Stevenage for Ross Worner… Artemis Beartrappe was quick to act and accepted… sometime after mid day it was confirmed the dead had been completed

AFC Wimbledons only purchase on the final day was English born Welsh Under 17 & 19 inter nation Joe Morrell… Artemis Beartrappe has tracked the youngster since he took over and was finally able to strike a deal with Bristol City… the deal involved no money but say Sean Rigg travel the opposite way!!!

With hours left in the transfer window Crewe Alexander completed the signing of Jake Reeves for a fee of 120 thousand pounds…

But there was also heartache as manager Artemis Beartrappe failed in signing two of his targets… firstly a fee couldn't be agreed for Stevenage centre defender Ryan Johnson… Artemis Beartrappes other target was young 17 year old George Cooper from Crewe Alexander who plays on the left of midfield… the word is that Crewe felt the deal was fair but were not wanting to take Adebayo Akinfenwa as part exchange…

Only time will tell if Artemis Beartrappe's AFC Wimbledon have strengthen themselves enough for the loan season ahead of them!!!
