AFC Wimbledon To Strengthen Team During Winter Transfer Window

Sunday 18th December 2016
With the transfer window opening again in 14 days time we have had a look at the present AFC Wimbledon team and identified the problem areas in the squad and have noted who should leaving the club and who should be brought in...

Transfer In: The first player that needs to be signed is Liverpool's Jordan Ibe... Artemis Beartrappe failed in the attempt to sign the youngster on transfer day in the summer... all efforts should be made to sign him as he is a game changer and his pace would be a brilliant fit for the team... plus he would be an excellent replacement for Jack Grealish who was never really replaced after he signed for a club record deal to Newcastle in the summer...

Transfer In: With AFC Wimbledon leaking the goals this season they are missing a leader in defence... Gomez and Boateng has been playing well throughout the season but with questions over the quality of Jack Whatmough surely a defender the likes of Erik Palmer-Brown who spent last season on loan at the club would be a great signing...

Transfer Out: Surely one of the first players on their way out if contract rebel Ben Harrison... ever present the first season at AFC Wimbledon he has dropped down the pecking order and with Artemis Beartrappe favouring the 3-4-3 he has no were to play... expect AFC Wimbledon to receive over one hundred thousand pounds for him...

Transfer Out: It comes to no surprise that Liam Donnelly is on the list of people who should go... he has failed to shine under Artemis Beartrappe with him even him playing second fiddle to a centre midfielder in defence... his anrgy of not being played is all over social media and expect Artemis Beartrappe to make a tidy profit on the Northern Irish man after getting him for a knocked down price from Fulham...

Transfer Out: The surprise on this list has to be summer signing Ryan Williams... after showing so much promise during pre season his form has failed to transfer to the league season... as of late he has been used sparingly... surely Artemis Beartrappe should act now if he has any chance or recoup-orating any of the money he spent on him during the summer...

Pre Contract: This one may be a long shot but with Arsenals Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's contract due to expire in the summer he would be a perfect addition to the squad who would straight away be an automatic first team player... his wages may be high but with money in the bank from the Grealish deal anything is possible... Alex may be put off with the possibility that AFC Wimbledon may not get promoted...

Pre Contract: With Artemis Beartrappe clearly wanting a new central defender Liam Moore could be a perfect signing... with his contract expiring i the summer he would be a natural leader for next year... but his wages may come down to be a problem...

Loan In: With AFC Wimbledons new formation with two at the top another striker is needed so that they will be able to keep Oakley, Armstrong and Sinclair at full fitness... Chelsea youngster Alex Kiwomya would be a great fit for the team... with his pace he runs well at defenders and makes chances for other strikers... his wages for nine thousand pounds a week maybe a put off tho...

Loan In: With AFC Wimbledon mixing with the big boys in the Championship... some added experience may be handy... a players who's been there before is Joey Barton... currently being wasted in the QPR reserves he could be the perfect addition for the rest of the season and no doubt QPR would love to get him off their wage bill for a bit...

Loan Out: Young Conor Chaplin has failed to impress this season... so maybe a loan for the rest of the season at a League Two side would be good for him... he was nearly in the players out section but with age on his side there still could be a bright future for the youngster at AFC Wimbledon...
