Adam Armstrong put pen to paper on a 9 thousand pound a week contract for four years after coming his transfer from Newcastle United in a fee rumoured to be 1.2 million pounds which is seen as a real bargain...

It looked like AFC Wimbledon would be priced out on the player after the fabulous form he showed last year scoring 42 goals in 47 games...

But after Newcastle signed Jack grealish, Adam Armstrong was surplus to requirements at the club which came as a major surprise to AFC Wimbledon manager Artemis Beartrappe...
