Wales took on Portugal in the qualifying rounds for the Russian World Cup in 2018... Wales new look side tore the ageing Portugal apart... Bales, Morrell, Wilson and Burns all got onto the score sheet... to get Wales off to a flier in the qualities table...
Harry Wilson: In the starting line up... made a quick impact with his first senior goal... ran the length of the pitch before slotting it away beautifully... and just before half time he hit a perfect pass to Gareth Bale so he could slot away the second of the match... taken off 75 minute to a standing ovation from the home crowd... (Man of the Match)
Joe Morrell: In the starting line up... fantastic play by the centre midfielder... inch perfect passing... defended well... and finished it off with his first senior goal near the end of the match... taken off after 85 minutes...
Chris Maxwell: Started the game on the bench... but was unused...
