With a crucial match ahead and a draw in the opposite fixture it was a tough game for Wales... it took over an hour and the introduction of Harry Wilson to change that after a great run and finish by the young AFC Wimbledon man... with the win looking like in the bag Elliot Hewitt got sent off for a foolish lunge on Barry Bannan... but Wales where able to hold on and increase their chances of playing in Russia next summer...
Harry WIlson: Started on the bench today after passing a late fitness test... came on after 67 minutes for Wes Burns and operated down the right flank... and made an instant impact with a fine run and a perfect finish... played well down the flanks and set up several great chances which man of the match Marshall was able to save...
Joe Morrell: Started the match in the centre of midfield alongside Joe Allen... solid game and defended and attacked well... made Scottish keeper Marshall work hard to save two great shots... was replaced after 64 minutes by Joe Ledley...
